Fat of the Land and Sea is a multiplatform project about wild and homegrown food created by forager Oliver Brown and filmmaker Luke Rosen.
Oliver is an archaeologist with an obsession about where food comes from and how it gets to the table. This has made him enough of a forager, fisher, hunter, gardener, beekeeper and cook to take on the challenge of going for a year living on wild and homegrown food with just ten other ingredients allowed into the kitchen. All while keeping up the office day job and family life in suburban Sydney.
Luke Rosen is the filmmaker behind the 'Foraging Videos' and designer of this website. He has worked as a video journalist and video producer and is passionate about all aspects of filmmaking and storytelling. Fat of the Land and Sea brings this together with a love of the outdoors and food.
The two met after Luke spent time reading Oliver's original blog website and contacted him about making a webseries. It culminated in the production of the 'Foraging Videos' and the pair hope to find sponsorship or financial backing to make more videos.
